The Deschutes River is part of the national Wild & Scenic Rivers System. The spring-fed river flows with constant and predictable volume north from the Oregon Cascades to the Columbia River and on to the Pacific Ocean. Our courses travel between fifty to one hundred miles along the Lower Deschutes through Class II to IV rapids. With slower moving flat water transitioning to exhilarating rapids, the Deschutes is excellent for learning paddle skills and teamwork. The group camps each night along the banks of the river.
