Step 2: Enroll and pay a deposit.
Once you have chosen your expedition select enroll. Here you will be asked to complete a short online application and submit a $500 deposit. This deposit includes a $150 non-refundable processing fee. Again, if you would rather do this over the phone please call us toll free, (888) 756-2627. > Applying for a scholarship
Once you have applied, one of our student services representatives will send you a registration packet via email. This email will contain important paperwork such as: forms for you to fill out and return, information about course and a clothing and gear list. You will not receive the registration packet with these items until you have completed Step 1 and 2.
Step 4: Send us the completed forms.
Complete all the required forms in the registration packet and submit to us by email, upload, fax or mail. If you choose to email, please submit your forms in PDF format and email to [email protected] with your name and course number in the subject line.
Step 5: Pay for your course.
Your course tuition is due on or before 90 days before your course start date.
Step 6: Get ready for the challenge.
Start preparing mentally and physically for your Northwest Outward Bound School course. You don't have to be a world-class athlete to complete an Outward Bound course. In fact, most of our courses are designed for the average person who is looking for a physical, mental and social challenge. Still, your level of physical readiness will affect your experience.
