Insight Days are one-day programs that give participants insight into what is possible. By taking part in activities and challenges that extend their comfort zone, participants experience the power of “I did it,” and discover strength in themselves and in the group.

Challenge, Reflection, & Discovery
The program is designed to first build self-esteem and self-confidence. With this foundation students take on greater responsibilities and stretch themselves in activities farther than thought possible. As they work together to overcome challenges, instructors provide opportunities for individuals to lead the group and they focus discussions on leadership skills and styles and personal and group interactions.
Program Offerings
Home to the headquarters of Northwest Outward Bound School, and our Outward Bound school programming, the Portland metro area is a great location for an Insight Day. We utilize public outdoor spaces, rock slabs for outdoor climbing, rock climbing gyms, and challenge courses to facilitate our programs. The specific location depends on the type of Insight Day activity.
Activities include team building, rock climbing, or a challenge course.
